Whole Body Cryotherapy

Embark on the coolest adventure your body has ever experienced – Cryotherapy!
Cryotherapy, derived from the Greek words "cryo" meaning cold and "therapy" meaning treatment, is a therapeutic technique that involves exposing the body to extremely cold temperatures for a short duration. "Why on earth would I do that?" Well, I'll tell you.

Muscle and Joints: WBC involves exposure to temperatures ranging from -145°F to -190°F for a brief period, typically 2 to 4 minutes. The extreme cold triggers a systemic response in the body, constricting blood vessels and providing relief from muscle soreness, joint pain, and inflammation.

Metabolic and Weight Management: Studies suggest that regular cryotherapy sessions may increase metabolism, leading to calorie burning and potential weight loss benefits. Extreme cold exposure has been linked to stimulating the vagus nerve which has an vital role in controlling satiation and metabolism.

Skin Health: Cryotherapy promotes collagen production and improves skin elasticity, resulting in a rejuvenated appearance. Many users report smoother, more radiant skin following cryotherapy sessions.

Mental Well-being: Cold exposure has been linked to mood improvement and reduced symptoms of depression and anxiety. Cryotherapy enthusiasts often report feeling refreshed, invigorated, and mentally sharp after a session.

If you only had 3 minutes a day to take care of your physical health, mental health, and confidence...cryotherapy would be at the top of your list.

Red Light Therapy

Low on energy? Need a metabolism boost? Struggle with chronic pain and inflammation? Enjoying looking at wrinkly skin? Try red light therapy and bask in the glow of rejuvenation! It's like giving your cells a disco party - they'll be dancing with joy in no time! Let me explain.

Red light therapy, also known as photobiomodulation (PBM), involves the use of specific wavelengths of red or near-infrared light to stimulate cellular function and promote healing in the body. Red light therapy works by penetrating the skin and being absorbed by the mitochondria, the energy-producing powerhouse of cells. This absorption leads to increased cellular energy production, enhanced circulation, and a cascade of beneficial effects at the cellular level.

Benefits: Red light therapy has been studied for its potential therapeutic benefits across a wide range of conditions, including:

Skin Health: Red light therapy promotes collagen production, reduce wrinkles and fine lines, improve skin tone and texture, and accelerate wound healing. It also enhances cell regeneration and tissue repair.

Pain Management: It has shown promise in reducing chronic pain and inflammation associated with conditions such as arthritis, muscle strains, and injuries.

Muscle Recovery: Athletes often use red light therapy to speed up recovery from workouts, reduce muscle soreness, and enhance performance.

Joint Health: It helps to alleviate joint pain and stiffness associated with conditions like osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Immune System: Studies have shown and increase in the strength of the immune system after multiple session of red light therapy. There has also been significant enhancement to brain health, nerve repair, and nerve regeneration.

About Our Red Light Bed

Not all red light beds are created equal. We have teamed up with Theralight to supply our guests with the best red light bed on the market. The Theralight 360+ bed in our center utilizes four red and infrared light wavelengths when most panels provide just two. This increase capacity of red and infrared light means that the light will have a greater penetration and will be able to reach more cells in your body.

The Theralight 360+ beds has an irradiance measure of 165 mW/cm² while most other panels have an irradiance measure anywhere from 60-120 mW/cm². To be extreme, compare that to trying to charge a battery with the light from a flash light vs the light from the sun; one is just going to work quicker and better.

The real kicker is the way this bed is designed. You won't be standing in front of a panel while only a small part of your body is exposed to these beneficial light wavelengths, rather, you will be laying down while your body absorbs 360 degrees of healing light energy. Theralight has done a remarkable job by maximizing the type of light, the amount of it, and the degree to which your body is able to absorb it. Let's get it you in!

Compression Therapy

Compression therapy has often been associated with those tight, sometimes comically stretchy socks. It's like a gentle but firm hug for your legs. You wouldn't be wrong in thinking this, but we have taken it 2 steps further. Our compression therapy system utilizes compression motors and compartmentalized compression sleeves to tailor the therapeutic experience to your needs. Using 3 separate compression sleeve systems, we are able to target your legs, hips & lower back, and arms & shoulders. Each sleeve has 4 customizable chambers that can be pressure controlled anywhere from 10 mmHg to 200 mmHg. That's some serious pressure for those who want some serious recovery.

Compression therapy is like having a personal assistant for your circulation system. It can:

  • Unblock traffic jams in your veins, improve blood flow, and boost circulation.

  • Give your lymphatic system a superhero cape – it's on a mission to detoxify and de-puff!

  • Combat muscle fatigue by keeping your muscles feeling fresher than a mint after a meal!

  • Say goodbye to pain and soreness – compression therapy wraps your muscles in a cozy blanket of relief!

Infrared Sauna

Step into the infrared sauna and let the warmth envelop you like a cozy hug from the sun itself! The sun produces a combination of visible and invisible light, and one of those invisible spectrums is infrared rays. Invisible infrared wavelengths are what makes the sun feel warm (and ultraviolet wavelengths are what makes it bright). Scientists have established that infrared waves are beneficial to the human body as they increase the thermal energy in the body.  Infrared does this without any of the harmful rays of sunlight. There are three main categories of the infrared spectrum: near infrared, mid infrared, and far infrared.

Near Infrared is the shortest wavelength but penetrates the deepest. Near infrared is associated with photobiomodulation which directly produces energy within the cells through ATP stimulation.

Mid infrared wavelengths temporarily increase circulation through vasodilation, promoting temporary increase in blood flow and temporarily elevating heart rate and overall metabolism.

Far infrared is the closest of the wavelengths to the infrared heat given off by our own body. Since far infrared wavelengths feel very natural and normal to us, our energy is temporarily enhanced and strengthened.

While we call our infrared models “Saunas”, they are really infrared therapy cabins.  Rather than use steam or the traditional “box of hot rocks” heating elements, the infrared sauna heaters use the infrared spectrum to promote relaxation, weight loss, detoxification, immune system boost, enhanced circulation, muscle & joint pain relief and other wellness benefits.  In an infrared sauna, the air temperature is less important than the quality of the infrared heat.  You will warm up with the sauna.  As your body absorbs the infrared heat, this will increase thermal energy inducing a deep and relaxing sweat.  Using your infrared sauna at lower temperatures means you can stay in longer and get more benefit.

The main difference between infrared saunas and traditional saunas is how they use heat. Traditional saunas use a single heater that is heating the air and this hot air heats the user.  In contrast, infrared saunas use advanced therapy to promote heat generation in the body with only a small percentage of the heat heating the air. This results in a deeper sweat and at a lower ambient air temperature. In fact, infrared saunas usually operate between 115° – 135°F, while traditional saunas can get up to 195°F.

You will get all of the relaxation benefits of a traditional infrared sauna along with the increased health benefits that infrared offers all at a much more comfortable temperature.  Infrared saunas are also dry saunas and many users find this makes for a more comfortable sauna session.

"We joined iCRYO about 8 weeks ago & use the red light bed, cryo chamber & compression at least 3x a week. My muscle soreness, especially my plantar fasciitis has greatly improved & recovery after hiking is much faster. I also really like the cryo facials & how much better my skin looks. Everyone is friendly & knowledgeable, definitely recommend checking them out.
